Dr Vivian Asimos

I am an independent scholar, or what I call a “freelance academic”, interested in the intersections of anything that can be considered religion, and anything that can be considered popular culture. I love mythology, and I love stories. I believe our current popular culture are our current myths; they are the stories we tell and we use to understand ourselves and our place in this world.

I am currently based in the UK, surrounded by houseplants, books, and mythological fiction.
